I can see the point of a tank guard, but the stuff in the link just seems to be a bit pointless, and just something else to collect **** in:rolleyes::rolleyes:.


(Warning this is my very inexperienced opinion, as should not be taken as fact;)).


lol its ok, my mate tells me what i can and cant have on my landy last newbury show i would have spent a fortune on bits i know i didnt need but he kept me on a tight lead. still managed to buy a winch bumper without him knowing.......until tomoz when we pick it up :lalala::lalala::lalala:

Someone with far more knowledge than me might be along later and say they're good, you never know, if not thats £60 odd towards your tank guard;);););)
 
complete and utter waste of money... slightly lowering you're ground clearance, will just clog up with crap as Grimmer said and could even get caught on rocks or tree branches.

Sumps can be smashed by rocks - good idea to protect them with a sump guard

Fuel tanks can be smashed by rocks - good idea to protect them with a tank guard

Doors can take side impacts - good idea to protect them with rock sliders

Chassis' are big heavy solid lumps of metal which don't hold in important fluids or have critical moving parts... if they get hit by a big rock, the worst that happens is they get slightly dented.
