Morning all.

This trip i was meant to be going on 2 weeks ago.... looks like its finaly going to go ahead this weekend.

We are heading from Newcastle down to Middlesbrough then down over the York moors to some where near Scarbrough.

Any one on here got any places to stay for the night?

Weve looked at the Travel lodge in Scarbrough but thought this time of year we might get some where abit cheaper???

Any ideas would be great thanks.

p.s. any tips on the lanes down there? one of the lads has been and knows them well but just trying to get abit backround on them ;)

thanks again.

there are quite a few b&bs but it depends on your route.

tips for the lanes, quite scratchy, a lot of them have been gravelled and not too testing :)

there are also some great lanes to be tried over there but wouldnt go there without a winch so guessing your mate wont be taking you down those

THANK THE LORD some one has abit common sense. A Real answer, Thanks you.

aye iv got the route in the house ill have a search to night just thought there might have been one people have used. think it might have to be the Travel lodge for easy as there is different numbers in rooms and stuff.

thanks for that between the 4/5 jeeps going down we should have enough kit to get through pretty much anything. so hopefully we will get down some testing ones.

theres loads of different routes around there, we usually start around west ayton, passing the old langdale quest and come out on the whitby road so lots of little villages, b&bs etc. to find somewhere to kip and there is always camping ;)

oh and remember piccys are a must
