Yorkshire (Harrogate) visit, any advice for sights to see?

It might be worth visiting a few places on the way up and darn anorl if you can.

I'd recommend Wentworth Castle just off J36 at Barnsley.

Well, what I've seen of Harrogate so far is very nice. Christmas lights up and much busier than I expected.
Italian tonight and off out for a drive tomorrow.

I've seen more Defenders here than anywhere else and most seem to have been kitted out for expeditions, do you think they may be part of your group or is that normal round these parts?

If your still about tomorrow head down to Knaresborough and walk down by the river. Couple nice cafés down there. Top place is Knaresborough.

I saw loads while we were out yesterday but no groups like that. I may have seen one yesterday in Karesborough, that looked like it had been out on some lanes.
