Either that and it wasn't the lamp and could likely be the ballast inside the light

them bulbs are pricey not ur standard jobbies think u need d3s not d2s bulbs

you got ripped off !
when i had my old L322 chuckie lights i bought a pair of replacement lamps off ebay for £15 a pair !
they are D2s type lamps.
not genuine items, but they worked fine

might of damaged headlight ballast.
try taking out the relevant fuse for that headlight for a few mins and see if it resets it.

Swap the ballasts over from one side to the other, if the fault follows...ballast fecked, if the same....bulb or wiring to the ballast fecked.
Had loads of chew with mine over 2 years changed both headlight ecu's for recon ones and the passenger side igniter ,another problem with the passenger side headlight is the negative connects to a bolt on the inner wing with about six other wires in a multi connector, cleaning that connection up finally sorted mine .
