correct me rear cross member on disco is welded to the body then bolted to the chassis

and defender rear cross member is welded to the chassis and tub is then bolted to the out riggers including the rear cross member

Dont think so. friend just done a chassis swop on a disco dont remember it being welded to chassis, just 8 bolts if memory serves.
