looking at a pair of rear x eng x-arms to replace my trailing arms as they are standard un;s but its got a 4" lift and the bushes are being constantly stressed because of this. I like the ideaof the x-arms but wondered if there might be any issues with transmittal of road noise due to them being bolted direct to the chassis? unless they have rubber mounts that i cannot see from the pics?

Looking at the picture on the website, it looks to me like it's a socket joint with no bushes. So given that it would seem reasonable to presume you will get noise through it. I suppose the tolerances of the manufacture will make a big difference but I would think the best thing to do is give them a ring.

I say you'd be better off getting some normal cranked arms if the vehicle is going to be doing mostly road miles. There are some pretty tough ones out there. I saw QT selling some that looked quite good. Don't know if they still do em.

I'm running johhny jointed arms so no rubber bushing,Don't get any noise you speak of.
Friend runs x-arms, just the same really.

:hijacked: Hmm no not really lol both bout 20 min drive am more likely go bstoke than to hook next, let me know if need an extra pair of hands more thn happy to help, you going for springs& shocks or lift blocks?

Hahaa, yeh won't take long get all that bolted on! Those recips are a bloody good tyre, the boys over at bordon like em for the sand. Do believe they wear quite quickly if your having them on the road?
