put everything back to how it was before you made things worse - disconnect incoming at lift pump from tank and run direct from a small can/bottle - as i suspect it's just crap blocking the pickup

think you is on the dope - 563146 superceeds the 1190 which fits 2.25s and early 2.5s

Have you got a 2.25 or a 2.5 diesel engine?

Fook it..order a stc1190..then you've got all bases covered...send the one that doesn't work back..

whats easiest way to tell if its a 2.25 or 2.5?

I believe the 2.25 had a seperate tube to fill oil, beside the rocker cover, on the left as you look at engine. If you can find engine number that'd sort it too.

I'm sure its a 2.25, looks spot on for the manual picture, does anyone have an image of a 2.5 or a link to one?

nooooooooooooooo ANY of those part number is suitable for a 2.25 or the very early 2.5s

fook it change yer engine to match the pump

Going to stick new pump in, but...........fuel pipe set up looks slightly different with three pipes coming off in total(?). But old one just had the two

For the diesel starting procedure is accellerator pressed fully down.

are heater plugs working ok

have you bled the filter and injector pump correctly
