Would he have done it to anything but a Range Rover

Thought that was only if there’s traffic on the right hand side that’s moving slower than u,

but if I’m in lane 1 and there’s a single car on a right hand side of me thats driving at a lower speed of 70mph I always thought I wasn’t allowed to undertake them ???
So you enter a motorway. What lane do you end up in? 1. You stay in 1 and and accelerate to the legal speed limit. You pass cars in lane 2,3 or 4. You've done nothing. And therefore done nothing wrong. Then there's the stay left unless overtaking mantra. If you move to1 from 2 and some numpty is doing 50 in lane 4 you'll pass them. Again have you done anything wrong? Nope. And so on.

Understand where ur coming from and indeed a lot of it is common sense , but with so many cameras around it’s also there interpretation of ur driving , lol

Mentioning slip roads , Still amazes me where u see someone come on at the slip road then cut straight across into lane 3/4 and bullying someone by sitting on there bumper

Why did other drivers in front of the Kia not go out into outer lane
We are hellish bad at moving into the inner lanes far too early. We should definitely be using all available lanes and then zipping at the blockage. We just dont do that and I have no idea why. In Europe they seem to use all lanes

Ok the example I gave was just that , a n other scenario, to the one shown on the footage. As to why others weren't seen to be moving out in front of Mr Kia , I dont know, maybe further down they are but those we can see couldnt see the next gantry, or like yourself werent looking at the gantry. Take a more considered look at the VSL on the gantry that the RR passes under at the start of the footage , than you have to this point..

The R R driver wants to learn where his indicator stalk is and how to use it.press down and it will indicate to the' left then when the middle lane allows ,you can move the feck out of the third lane, then someone may overtake him and he would have to let the overtaker in front of him if the outside lane is obstructed.thatsvthe problem no lane discipline. It's all a ****ing contest.
The RR driver does not need to indicate left.

You're not. Thank Christ someone on here actually understands the rules of the road.

U think, don’t mean that sarcasticly either, , lol , have seen many drivers ranging from young to old, unless of course a survey has been done of who hogs the lanes the most ;)

Must admit , didn’t take long getting useto passing cars either side when I lived in the states

Still, Think we often see many undertaking here in the uk already, lol , M25 and wacky races comes to mind , always know the drivers who are late for the airport ;)

Is bloody annoying when some just hog outer lanes so if ur in lane 1 u can’t legally pass them on the inside , I don’t because there’s so many cameras around so end up overtaking and coming all the way back over again , see some lorries getting really upset though and might as well park on there bumpers

Quite ironic , that only yesterday an American friend of mine (THP)and I were having the discussion that Americans are starting to think our way of using multiple lane highways and not passing on both sides is safer. The ratio of deaths per million vehs on the road in the US is around double the highest European number and approx 3 x that of the UK. There is a stats graph somewhere online, as it was included in our convo ( I know boring gits).
Where lies the difficulty of coming out of lane one, moving to lane two or three or four or 6 or whichever other lane necssary to overtake. Are drivers now so lazy and incompetent , that changing lanes to overtake is beyond them?
BTW for whoever said it earlier. There is no SLOW lane, there is no CRUISING lane and there is no FAST lane, nor has there every been. If you think there are any of the preceding, stop driving.
Oh and I'm using caps in the hope of it getting through to people, not to shout :)

I am assuming that the lane was open at the start and didnt have the red X on the gantry.
I agree the lane was open at 40 but the guy says that it was closed two miles back?
I have been overtaken many times, mainly on M77 by guys driving on a closed lane and that annoys me just as much as the guys on the video

I saw the gantry and I agree the Kia was in the wrong. He THOUGHT that the RR was queue jumping

Finally ;)

Well I think we should now have a go at people who have their below bumper lights on all the time
And rear fogs

Mirror signal manoeuvre I was taught,so yes he d does unless he is going to hog the third lane for the rest of his journey.;)
He is quite legally using lane 4 in the video, so why does he have to , as you stated "learn where his indicator stalk is"?

P.s If you edit AFTER someone replies, it's only manners to say you've done an edit.
