Hi , would anybody know why the outer tread on both of my rear tyres on my 2003 L322 are totally worn but the inner edges are almost new after 1 year and 3,000 miles. Thanks

Thanks backinblack, my tyres are accelera ? 275/40ZR22 , but once this is sorted would like to replace wheels and tyres with something more ‘ off roady ‘Possibly the camber, I have the same issue so it's going back in next week to have it checked. Out of interest what make of tyres do you have?
I'm running Avon ZX7 275/40R20.

Almost certainly down to worn bushes, coupled with tyres with too little side walls.Hi , would anybody know why the outer tread on both of my rear tyres on my 2003 L322 are totally worn but the inner edges are almost new after 1 year and 3,000 miles. Thanks
I saw a car like that last weekAlmost certainly down to worn bushes, coupled with tyres with too little side walls.
Taller side walls are much more forgiving with wheel alignment issues, where low profile rubber band tyres are simply shredded.
What load rating tyre does a range rover that age need?
D3 is minimum 111.
When I was looking for wheels for my D3, I found out that the D3 wheels are rated at 940 kg, but required tyres rated at 1090kg, giving a 150kg safety margin on the tyre. What load rating tyre does a range rover that age need?

I was pretty sure ride height affected alignment, that's why L322 and later don't have the low ride height, only the normal ride height
I thought the L322 dropped to motorway height from normal? I seem to remember that happening on my mates one. maybe I dreamt it.I was pretty sure ride height affected alignment, that's why L322 and later don't have the low ride height, only the normal ride height
