Does anyone know of a woodland near Marskbury that is accessable for some muddy playtime? I've seen a few comments here and there but none of them give directions or details.
Cheers,
Chris

If you're on about where I think you are it is just a single boat that idiots then leave and start churning up the wood. If I see anyone up there I'll happily pass their details over to the police.

Dunno the area, live way away, but a quick peruse of a decent map has shown me a number of places ... but as has been said, they may or may not be legal, so don't get caught .. and don't let me, or Ratty see you.

There's a lot more to driving lanes than just driving them, check legality first, which isn't the easiest thing to do, and don't drive them if they're not legal to drive 'cos that just ****s it all up for the rest of us.

As far as byways go it's just a lane where people have gone off piste. If you want mud to play in mud go to the sub pens on Salisbury but don't go on your own.

Hence this post to try and find out more about it!!! Is the BOAT any good?

Not really. I've taken 2 of the 3 recovery trucks that I've had down it. The only challenging time comes when you find someone has been fly tipping or there is a burnt out car blocking the lane. In the truck I always reverse up from the bottom to the top so I know I'm not gonna get stuck .
