Iv got a 200tdi CSW and I'm due to replace the wheels some time later this year. I was looking at getting wolf rims but was a little unsure about a couple of things.
Will I need to get longer studs?
Is the offset the same as standard steel wheels?
What is the maximum size that can be fitted to Wolf rims?
and finaly,
Are they really that much better/tougher than modular rims?

Cheers guys.

I got a set of wolf rims on my 110 and soon to do same on Edith the 90.

If your existing studs have a slot on the ends you're fine. If they don't you need the ones with the slots, although I know some folk don't bother and then run the risk of wheels falling off and insurance companies not paying out when they're looking for excuses not to pay out.

There is a bigger offset and this helps to fill the arches even with skinny tall tyres like my michelin XZLs.

I got them (the rims) cos I like the look and they're HD and good for expeditions. They are however heavy as a heavy thing. Maybe thats why the MOD are moving over to some fancy alloy apparently.

My 750x16 XZLs look big enough. Any bigger is (IMO) like having a red Porsche.
