My speedo has become even more wobbly than usual - has anyone managed to fix this problem without replacing it with an electronic one, or is that the best solution?

You probably need a new speedo cable, in my experience they usually become very erratic before they finally break. Could also be the actual dial. No need to fit an electronic one.

Fun that, I've just fited a new cable & it still wobbles

Had the same prob with mine and it turned out to be the plastic clip that connects behind the speedo, cured it by wrapping it with electrical tape to keep it tight

The cable is only two years old - might rip it off and grease it up. But the clip on the back of the speedo has become really slack.

Just read about a Landy owner who's speedo would flick to zero now and then, they had a new transducer fitted, this cured the problem for six months..... Just a thought maybe?
