Wing tops

Hey chaps,
My drivers side wing top has corroded, and has a badly mounted aerial on it.

I've looked online and in the part catalogue, found the part number, but no where sells them (that I can find)

I can find the side of the wing ( with the cut out for the wheels to turn) and the fronts where the headlight goes, but not the tops !!!

Am I a imbsile or are they actually hard to get hold of ?

The panels they quoted me for were very competitive....

they have got back to me about all parts of the wing, but is seems that they don't stick the wing tops anymore ( they are on the diagram on the link, but are not in the quote that they have given.)

Any other ideas anyone ?

Try the 'ocks' ie Craddocks or Paddocks web sites. Check their parts listings, I'm sure I've seen the whole wing assemblies listed.

Out of curiousity I checked Craddocks site just now. If you are looking for part no 395014 described as a front wing assembly they are quoting £450 (ouch!). Maybe worth a phone call to see what they mean by 'assembly', could be the whole wing but that number is just for the top. Alternative to try to scavenge a sendhand one; you must have some non dealership landy garages around your way.

Yeh there's a couple specialists, but still not cheap! Think I'll ring them in the week, apart from that I will get hunting on eBay and look in the for sale / wanted section on here.

The damage isn't as if it's dangerous/ not fail, so I won't be paying £350 for them, even if they are new
