i'm taking to pieces my 1989 landrover 90 ready for a rebuild. I'm just wandering what is the easiest way to take of the front wings? i had a go today but i can't access some of the bolts that attach the wings to the bulkhead? Any ideas would be great!

Thanks.

You're gonna have some fun doing a rebuild if takin the wings off has brought you to a halt. All the wing bolts are accessible you might need some longish extensions in your socket set but they're easy enough to get at really.

took mine off today, ended up using 2 long and a short extension for the top bolts

once they were off and i looked at the bulkhead i wished i hadnt started

He said ready for , didnt say gona do it himself!!!!and tbh you do get a few ask similar questions were you think "and youre gona do what ,and you dont know that" just point them in right direction and hope!

Its easy mate. As said, use some extensions on your socket (13mm). Don,t do what i done. Cut out rusty door pillars, flung them out, welded in new pillars (made a crackin job of that by the way, proud of maself), attempt to refit wings and realise you've binned the captive nuts as well. So therefor have decided......I AM A TIT

;)Assuming youve removed the rubber wheel arch liners its easy if youve got a couple of extension bars.
