Hope someone can help with my Freelander. When I select reverse gear the wing mirrors no longer tilt automatically. Any suggestions please. Ickey

I assume its a freelander 2 with electric seats? The seat controller controls the mirrors. Has someone pressed a different seat preset?

I always disable dipping in reverse, I find it so annoying. Nothing worse the being unable to see behind you, because the bloody mirror is making me look at the rear wheel. I know where the rear wheel is, I can drive a bloody car.

i have it dip slightly, gives a better view of the ground behind me. i don't need to see in the far distance when I'm reversing
It depends a degree on the position you're trying to reverse to, but I simply cannot ever see a reason why I need to see the rear wheel. I know the rear wheel is below the rear side window, I definitely don't need to check it's still there, every time I want to reverse.

hopefully the wheel hasn't fallen off! i use it all the time when parking on my drive, if I'm not close enough to the grass, I can't get my bike out, if I'm on the grass then it makes a mess. first world problems i guess.. saves opening the door when its raining

Similar problem, close to the wall and as far forward as possible to get the bike between the corner of the house and the back of the car.
