Hi, I have been a naughty girl and knocked wing mirrors with an oncoming car down a country lane, yikes!! Does anyone know if I can buy the plastic surround that sits at the front of the wing mirror as a part, and then fit it, as LR are telling me I need to buy the complete wing mirror unit at £400 and hideous plus vat. Help ???

breakers must have one, some super glue, hey presto fixed, tell lr to poke it and while your at it tell them it would'nt be a bad idea to build a decent car for change.

good luck.

OK, thanks, will have a look around. I just wasnt sure if the plastic surround could be fitted to the existing plastics as the rest of the wing mirror casing and glass ect is ok?

Merde alors, you won't be able to check your lipstick:rolleyes::D:rolleyes::D

Thanks Dewin, but that's not the bit i mean. I mean the very front surround that acts as an overhang to shelter the mirror glass. But thanks for taking the trouble to check ebay.
:)

You'll probably be better off just buying a complete mirror. Plenty on ebay - I have a feeling there are different types though (different numbers of connectors?) so best check the existing one before committing yourself.

Some tw*t in a transit smacked mine a while ago, but all that broke was the mirror glass itself.

i suspect you have a P38,
But if you have a classic I have a pair of leccy mirrors for sale 30 quid a pair or 15 quid each plus postage or LZ courier service Jai
