Hi
Starting to get tired with my beloved l322 as things just keep going wrong with it. Pulled up to the petrol station the other day after just being fixed ( faulty thermostat causing header tank to blow!!!) I noticed a leak from the engine!!!
After some investigation I found that my very recently filled washer tank was empty!!! Is this an easy thing to replace myself or does half the engine need to come out as seems to be in a very tight position?
I also have a problem with my steering wheel adjustment up and down motor which has stuck n the lowest position ( bit tricky getting in and out as am 6"1)
Been quoted £1000 as apparently column needs changing!!!

Any advice much appreciated guys

Washer bottle is quite low down in the engine bay but should be easy enough to change

A stone must to have flicked up and split it ?

The steering motors can usually be fixed by re-fixing the motor as apparently it's just a plastic clip that breaks off

Just a bit awkward to get to the motor I think

Ps don't give up with your range ;)

I had this recently too....turned out tobe the pipe had popped off the motor outlet draining the tank....

A bit of a faf to get my hands to it to refix (couldn't get to it from above the oil filter is in the way) so had to attack from below...this meant taking the lower trim off the wheel arch liner, then prising the liner away just enough to get my hand in to re-attach the pipe....

If you were to remove the washer bottle, the lower splash shield and wheel arch liner will need to be removed from what I can see....
