Windscreen air distribution

Evening all,

My D2 with climate control has stopped directing any air (hot or cold) to the windscreen. This is a pain, with this wet weather as it keeps misting up! Must get it sorted this weekend. All works okay blowing plenty of hot air through feet and face vents, just nothing to the windscreen.

I am thinking perhaps the servo motor for distribution control- I tried the diagnostic procedure last week and it showed no faults.

Anybody else suffered similar?

look at the glove box open, you can fold the mechanism so the glove box opens right down, then you can see the directional vent behind, cable as well, then see whats happening

Problem solved, easy fix (makes a change!).

Looked in at servo motors and control rods via fuse box under steering wheel and found the control rod from the distribution servo motor to the cam controlling the distribution flap had come out. Clipped it back in and plenty of hot air to windscreen.

Wish they were all this easy to fix!!
