Windows - Stoopid Question

Hello immensely wise and wondrously wobbly ones.

I'm struggling a bit here and hitting a wall of stoopid on my side, what is the "technical" name for the velvety piece in the door frame that window slides up? Mine are feckered in the top two inches of both passenger and drivers door and the wind whistles through at an alarming rate.
