Hello
Please may I enquire if any one can shed any light on why my Freelander winds my widows down on its own it only dose it at night. Key buttons are all ok ??

Is it all windows going down or just the tailgate? If it's just the tailgate,.. Does it have a removable rear half roof section? If so, mine does it all the time... There be a little actuator switch on the roof seal on the right side, check that's being engaged properly, I have all sorts of bits and bobs on mine to assist it being pressed down correctly, as if it isn't fully pressed in, the fl will think it's got no roof on, and automatically put the window into "safe position" which is dropped down inside the tailgate door,...

Apart from that, if it's all windows going down, I'm afraid and sorry to say I can't assist you more, but hopefully someone else here can, good luck

If this is all the windows then you will need a Shaman. When was the battery last changed as this normally effect the back tailgate. If New remove the battery lead for half an hour to reset the computer. This will drain the capacitors. After a cup of tea and biscuit then refit the battery lead. First thing to drop will be the back tailgate.

Looked on your profile to see what Freelander model.

All you tell us is that it is blue!!

Assume Freelander 1?
Agaim, please clarify which windows are motoring on their own.
