window wipers

got a problem,all at once the window wipers[front] radio,fog lights and cigar lighters wont work,I have tried all fuses and relays and found that the headlight washer fuse in the engine compartment had blown so i replaced it,they had worked after replacing this fuse but now nothing,not concerned about the radio but the wipers are a worry.their doesnt seem to be any power going to any of these parts, have also had a mechanic put his diagnostic machine on the car but not showing anything,another concern is that all the above work off different fuses

They might all work off different fuses but they all have to be earthed too. My guess is it's an earthing fault and not a live fault.
 
The earth from the wipers and lighter is earth point co18 and is located to the right handside of the drivers footwell beside the accelerator pedal.

I take it you mean your front fog lights and if so they also take the earth from co18 as does your radio

Would appear that this may be your problem.

Worth cleaning up the contacts and smearing a little Vaseline on, might even try it on the contacts!!

hi Biggeeeee tried the contact next to the drivers footwell,doesnt seem to be anything wrong with it,it is clean and free from any corrosion,picture was a great help found it in minutes

Are u sure he've scanned your BCU or he had just some ECM code reader?........it's important to be a Disco2 dedicated scanttool.
