yup, my park switch was FUBAR, new one fitted today + all working -cheers for the help guys!!

only prob is the replacement is a britpart one -it was cheap ish so i shoulda known!
-the plastic was a terrible copy and the little spring clip wouldnt stay in the mount hence it was a fiddly git to fit and the spade terminals for the connector block were too close together so wouldnt push on propperly

will prob be replacing it again in a few months but in all this bloody rain i need working wipers!!

Had the same problem with my wipers and still do. Changed the park switch...still won`t park properly. Are there any more ideas that anyone has to solve this?

Yes, I have some more ideas.

Recently done the same, changed almost everything including the park switch for the 90 wipers.

At least they sweep now!

They do not park though.

The park switch itself is good, there is a actuating post, that, when depressed stops all power to the motor.

It seems to be depressed all the time after the re-assemble of the motor, stop switch and cable.

I need to strip it all back out again and check whatever cam that actuautes the stop function of the switch has not become permanantly displaced.

This cam will be on the hidden side of the wiper motor wheel that operates the cable, one thing that I did not check at the time (well, I wanted some wipers in all of this rain at the time).

Can I be arsed at the moment to re-strip out for about the fourth time the wiper motor - no is the answer.

Perhaps within a week or two.
