I have a broken regulator cable on the driver door.I have heard that it
can be replaced with a bike cable.Any ideas would be great.
Its a year 2000 freelander xedi 4door
Thanks

Give the brake cable a go, it's a very sustainable repair

you'll take great reward in achieving a fix with a simple part, saving some cash in the process and it will more than likely last longer than the OE or after market regulators ;)

It only takes a couple of hours of your time and a couple of quid from your hard earned cash

Go to it and do it!

£120 at Island ? - versus under £5 for the cable fix or between £10 and £25 for a kit on Ebay
