got to be clip in. If they're stick on, then surely some pikey can unstick them. Plus, no adhesive is going to last forever in that environment, so after a year or two, maybe longer, they is gonna fall off.
Will they fall off when your landy is a) parked in the road, nice and neat, with no pressure or stress on the deflectors or b) when you're doing 70 when the deflectors are deflecting and being buffeted and stressed ?

(The right answer leads to deflectors being run over as you watch helplessly in the rear view mirror)

:).Take a look here:Land Rover Freelander 1998 - up wind deflectors 4pcs on eBay Grilles, Meshes Vents, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (item 120157767281 end time 13-Sep-07 06:49:17 BST).Picture will give an idea of how they look.I recently returned stick on deflectors also from Ebay as they looked appalling.I dont fancy sticking things to paintwork as it's only asking for trouble.Maybe Land Rover make deflectors as origional equipment, someone might have part numbers.

I fitted a set of 4 on my 5 door. TEAM HEKO ones and they are the business. Really the best. I got them from some German Guy on ebay and they are the clip on type. The front ones just slide in with no clips and the rear ones have two concealed clips each. Really impresed with the quality & fit too.

hi there, i'm assuming there is no difference between the front doors on a 2003, compared to a 98? if you get my drift, the only ones i have seen on ebay of any quality have been labled for a '98.

Not sure, but i would assume there may be a diffrence with the wing mirror area maybe as this did change. You may have to ask the seller
