Hi all,

To my thinking, a full set of wind deflectors (bonnet, windows etc) may help fuel consumption - especially the bonnet / windscreen which seems to be rather un-aero dynamic.

Is this right - if so, can someone recommend a place to get them?

Also, if anyone has a hard-case, lockable spare wheel cover (tail gate mounted), for less than £40, I'm lookin' ... ;)

dont get wind deflectors if you smoke, cuz yur back seats will be on fire when you flick your fag out and it hits it and comes back in

These deflectors have been out for years. The bonnet deflector is to protect the leading edge from stone chips and flying objects?? and the window deflectors to reduce the blast of air into the vehicle when the window is open for added driving comfort (in theory)..

Have a look at 4x4 Accessories, Car parts, Van Accessories - Formula4 I bet u that they have lots in stock and get one for the sunroof as well. ;)

you can buy special land rover wind deflectors that come with a free shogun in a fetching tobbaco/gold colour scheme.
Prices start about 4 grand from 'Jap Crap Importer's Ltd' working from an abandoned petrol station near you.
