if my wife said i want £2k for bigger tits i'd fook of yer cnut! cos i int got a wife!

and fake tits in't nice i've played with a few and they are not as good as the real thing!

headlight conversion i did that on mine i went from sealed beam to crystal halogen....:D

as for 'cool looking bumper and not taking it offroad......' just go and buy yourself a fiesta andbe done with it whats the point in having a very capable offroad vehicle, modifying it for offroad then only using it on tarmac, its like being married to megan fox putting her is sexy clothes then locking her in a cupboard so you cant see her!

Do you think that bumper would fit a Fiesta? :D:D:D

That is kind of missing the point....
I like the car I have! I want to add to its style by adding some non standard parts! Not buy another car!

I see it like this...

I paid £1400 for the discovery inc VAT
I am looking for another 4x4 to play about with off road say I spend 2k

Most people have a car worth 5-10k so I have some left to put into parts which make it look better, regardless of if they are used or not.

Yeah well "longranger"

I am thinking about trying one of these maybe on my new off road toy if I dont get a defender.

Did you fit your own? If so do you have an photos/info or a blog of you converting it?

some people have 40k rangerover sports and porsches - dont mean im gonna spend 39k on modifying mine:confused: i dont think we wil ever understand your reasoning

I think *you're* missing the point.

Have you actually read any posts on this forum before making your guff questions?

Very little about Land Rovers is about style, it's all about function. That is , apart from the COCKS who put 22" alloys on their RRS - and I'm sure they're taking the **** really. As are you? Come on, you must be. Paying the best part of a grand for a piece of kit to stick on the front of yer motor that you'll never use.

just been reading this fred, and i cant believe anyone would be serious about doing what is suggested..
i have a front winch that gets used a lot at p+p sites, winch challenges etc.i cant afford the rear one yet..

at no time did i ever think im gonna put a winch on me landy coz it looks cool,i thought about what i was gonna use the landy for,and it went from there.

most genuine landrover/offroad enthusiasts will spot a blagger a mile off..save your money and spend it on summit else

Lol I do see that point of view and if I were hard up for cash I wouldn't even thought about it.

I don't see it as a big deal at the end of the day the value of the truck will rise with the aftermarket extras.

The truck will look better (IMO) with the extras on it.

And my truck makes me money as it is sign written and is advertising my company. It also sends out the message that we are able to turn up to call outs where ever and what ever the weather. (We also run corsa vans which have never been stuck just they don't "say" that to the client from looking at them!)

I suposse the biggest question or thought is what the depreciation on an unused winch is!

Lol no worries tho there are no alloys on my truck they are standard steels!

were are you customers then? are they that inaccesable that you need a winch to get to them :D

Nope the main of them are in citys and towns. Hence me saying the the likely hood of ever NEEDING to use it would be zero!

However there have been a few clients who have said they came to us after seeing the 4x4 out and about.

The thing is I am not saying that I wouldnt like to take it off road, I am saying I wouldn't as if I were to get a battle scar say in the rear pannel (its a disco 1 commercial) that would cost a fortune to replace the metal pannel then there is the signage!

Much easier to have seperate cars 1 for work and 1 for play (Which is what I am looking for at the moment!) Yet that dosn't mean that the work one shouldn't look like it is more than capable off road!

Just wondering what makes a genuine land rover enthusiast an enthusiast?

I currently have:
3 Disco 1 Commercial 300 TDI's
1 Disco 1 V8 car

I have also owned 1 other Disco 1 Commercial 300 TDI and a Freelander!

I missed out on a Defender 110 but will get one soon (Which will see off road action and won't be sign written).

Just wondering if I am genuine yet?

Fair play it is a lot of money to look good.

But is the main agument that they don't look good?
Or that you personally wouldn't justify the money if you were paying?
