I can be around next sat morning, regarding the cooking oil it may be worth trying boiling water over pump.

Thanks Fanatic, sorry to inconvenience everyone, but hopefully we can kill a few birds with one stone by making it next week and by collecting from WL first.

Going to strip the fuel system down today and give it another go later, although i had a 70/30 mix of oil/diesel it's bloody warm in my garage so i wasn't expecting temp to be a problem, but after trying to bump it down the road, it then became one after a few hours sitting outside.

Live n learn ;)

No joy today with starting, will work on it abit more and get some result.

If i dont get to WL's today then i will endevour to do it by the weekend, so those who have PM'd me i've got your list's.

Cheers

You need to dilute it to the fuel pump with straight diesel when you have diesel to pump, try cracking off each injector until you have fresh diesel.
I suspect lift pump and or injection pump don't like viscosity

You're probably right, ran this mixture before without Issue but it's struggling atm, I do have a 200tdi pump spare, going to check if this'll fit

Guys, i'm sorry but i can't get over to WL's atm, he's working this week and i'm back upto Birmingham on Saturday ( given the old girl will make it ), this sunday would've been ideal but i had a non running vehicle.

I've PM'd those that asked, this courier thread is still open to anyone that can help

Cheers
