Will this cylinder head fit my 300 tdi

Hello my cylinder head on my 1994 discovery 1 300 tdi went and the car boiled up.. anyway i had the cylinder head pressure tested and was going to get it skimmed but the shop rang me and said it failed the pressure test and the cylinder head is scrap..

Looking on ebay i found a brand new one for £400 with new gaskets and bolts it says it will fit any 300 tdi but the bottom looks differant..

But the one on ebay looks like this

yes if its a 300 head it will fit any 300

Don't forget yours still has locating dowels in it and a lot of marks from the head gasket, cylinders etc. If yours were cleaned I'd say it was just about identical ...

Check this, I re-oriented and sized the pics to more easily check how close they were ..

Paul D i like your defender i had one of those as my first land rover but i never had a winch on it... i think i made a mistake getting rid of it...

I did notice the outline of the hole where the hole was ment but no hole was to be seen where it was ment

Yeah, I saw it but thought it was the picture and that there was a hole there. I'd ask them ..
