Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I am Ivan from Montenegro. I have a problem with my Defender, it's a 300 tdi engine, and now I hear a noise when the engine warms up, but it revs at higher speeds, and sometimes it stops for a short time, I hope I'll be able to post a video, because I don't know how can i explain it to you. Otherwise, I overhauled the engine...I didn't quite know where to post my problem, it's my first time on a forum like this. so I apologize if I'm wrong

The 'rattle' you hear is not excessive and can be from a number of components.
The tappits, the vacuum pump cam, the fuel lifter pump.

Make sure the oil is filled to the correct level and start the engine gently. Let it tick-over for for 20 sconds to circulate the oil befire revving above 1200 rpm.
If you have a long screwdriver you can use this to listen to components to see where the noise is, you can also get a device called an engine stethoscope.

Welcome to the forum.
Your engine does look nice and clean 👍
