Haha very good. I think it's shown me what I can get for 500 quid. People did notice how quick my money was going up before I started spending it all on clothes and beer, so I'm going to abstain from shopping and see if I can save up loads and get a fair one lol.

There are a few decent ones around £800-£1000.
Mine (95 300 Tdi)was solid underneath, excellent boot floor and rear crossmember, sills etc.

Even had timing belt done,12 months Mot and 6 months tax and got it for £800 plus a spare set of alloys with tyres thrown in, so they are out there if you can run to a bit more cash.

Hope you get something soon!

What about this for a plan? Buy a 500quid disco with some mot/tax, drive it till the t&t runs out then break it for spares. You'll make more than yer 500 quid back for it plus you'll have gained some valuable practical experience of disco ownership. Repeat the process a couple of times pocketing a bit of profit each time until you've amassed enough to buy a keeper. You will have spent some time getting to know discos plus you'll have stripped a few down so you'l have a bloody good idea what to look for in a car to keep.

if u aint breakin 700 quid this time tomorrow there'l b TROUBLE!!

waste of space bloody students......;)
