Will it or won't it ?

I've noticed that my windscreen has the wire elements running through for the de-mist function. When I peeled back the blank cover for where the switch is supposed to be, there is the connector plug for the switch.My question is, if I buy the correct switch do you think the windscreen de-mist function will work.Or is there a load of other electrics that will probably be missing as well ? Thanks

it will more than likly work, a bit like cruise control is behind the blank and all is needed is the switches

If the switch isn't there, then why should the relay/relays (there may be two depending on model as the screen has two elements) be in place.

You usually have to buy the switch & relays. Only the wiring is normally there already.

Thanks all,I've seen a switch in the breakers,will grab the relays aswell and try it.I'll let you know if it goes bang..
