Will disco steering pump fit defender 200tdi

Will a power steering pump from a 200tdi disco fit my 200tdi defender.
I've been told that it will not but thought I would get some more opinions.

think the pump is the same but the mounting brackets differ, you may be able to swop them over though

Yeah I'm not worried about brackets ect, obviously got them
On the old pump.

So basically my question is this; there is four mounting bolts that the pump bolt to the plate. Are these mounting pounds the same on the pumps?

pump mounting holes are the same pulley boss isnt though

Ah ok, I can pull the boss off but not sure how to get it back on. Haha
