Right quick question and I'm sure Jamesmartin may have the answer. I may have gotten myself a TD5 rear door for a good price (no window, or wiper). Will the 300tdi wiper motor assembly fit with little or no modification. Or do I require a TD5 wiper motor assembly, and if so how difficult is it to rewire into the 300tdi system?

The after market door I have is falling to pieces and I would like to upgrade to the later door!

Cheers in advance.

yeah my current crap back door has a motor fitted that I repaired earlier this year and works...So if all goes to plan I want to remove it and fit it to the new door. No requirement to rewire a new motor as I believe the td5 motor loom is different...got to get it first, then get it sprayed then get the glass.....but in the pipeline definitely :D

This is the loom you will need to make up:

If you have a word with PaulMc he should be able to get you the plug to the wiper motor, I think it's the same as the speedo transducer.

Don't worry about the other end of the wires just connect them to the existing wires inside the cab, oh and ground the whole door.

cheers, we'll see what happens this next week, and I,ll mock up my motor to see if it fits, if not i'll pick your brains later in the month.

you aint got a part number for the loom please?

Don't go there it will be HIDEOUSLY expensive!!

Just buy the connector off Paul, he will supply it will a metre of wire attached to each pin of the plug if you ask. You can then just attach the wires to the existing wires.
