i was gonna put some 35" silverstone extreme tyres on me deepender,but then my eyes lit up when i saw some creepy crawler 37" tyres,reasonably priced.i have a 2" lift and was gonna cut the flexi archs for the 35" tyres anyway..but will 37" go on or are serious mods req,or is it a no no altogether,anyone done it to theres??
 
Yes, They will. There is a bloke on LRUK that has them on, I think he has a 3" lift and needs extended arches. Will look for a link for you.
 
ah ha,i know that motor i think its daves sons landy.dave works at douglass motors,i know dave went for 37" creepys on his disco now i know why,cant have his boy out doin him,,they is big mmmm might have to try and save the extra dosh
 
iv got a 4" lift on mi 90 and mi 35" fedima's actualy measure 36" n arf and thes bags of room.

got more than one,av got lower ratio transferbox to fit,towbar to make,suspension to sort,rollcage to finish......................................and the list gos on and on!
 
How do you get around the low ratio change in speed? Is there a cheap way? I've got a military gearbox with a lower 1st and 5th gear which makes it lovley and slow for trialling/comps and winching events but with 37 inch tyres first gear low would be I think way too fast and second would be stupidly fast for that kind of driving. I know high range is sorted by the transfer box swap but low range concerns me. The max I would go woulkd be 35 inch/900x16 unless I had a soloution for this. Ashcroft do a crawler gear might be good but its £££ Jai

am puttin a 1.6 transferbox on,off road it alrate but on the road the gearing far to tall wen av got mi trailer on.
