Wildtracks

Hi Everyone,

Just got my first 4x4 (disco), thinking of going wildtracks this weekend

Just wondering, has any one been?

Is it any good?, i dont want to get into anything too hardcore though at the moment, ive only got road tyres on it

need something nice and easy, which im not going to do too much harm to my disco on

+ in the water, does water enter straight away through the doors?

its just, its more of a road car its still new to me and i dont really wanna soak the inside

I have been to wildtracks recently.
It wasnt that good, i have a winch equiped 90 and got stuck a few times even though im on muds and lifted.
There arnt any hills and there is just a lot of sand to tear seals to shreads.
I would advise against going at weekends as there are a lot of quads around and 4x4s get the raw end of the deal.
I would wait a while and go to a better site or greenlaning with some other 4x4s

I couldnt understand the website wirh regard to prices is that 6 quid to enter the park meaning its 6 quid for a days offroading?Thats cheap...but if its ****e might not be worth it

Well, it is ****e and it is £6 entry to the park on the saturdays and £25 to drive the track.
Save your money and go somewhere better!!!

oh so 31 quid is a different story all together and if its ****e any way thats quite dear.Mug that one off then!

I went before christmas, £25. It's ok if you want to go for the first time but don't think you would want to go back again. One puddle is full of mud and you will got stuck and one deep, up to the windows.

im not too sure what to do then, i still have to take my little nepthew there as hes doing the motocross try out,

so while hes doing that, i thought i could have some fun

spose ill have to take a walk round and see if i fancy it

can i ask,,,, if i get stuck in the water, will it enter through the doors?

i need to keep inside clean and dry if you get me,

in a way i wish i bought something a bit hanging now which i could just abuse, with the one ive bought i cant , way to clean

My brother in law got stuck, 05 jeep with ducks floating about in it. It made my day.

Hey all

I did it, had a wicked time got stuck in the woods area big time, had to be pulled out by a tractor

Needs lifting though, kept scraping my tow bar across the ground

Dont know if i will go back, fancy going to some other places now, Bigger places!

george, i have a feeling i know where that was, there was a puddle over the far back next to the go kart track, i went in a small bit to see how deep it was then the front dropped and water was up at the bonet !, soon reversed out of that!

Got a fair bit of video, but not one picture of my actually driving, quite annoyed about that
