Drove from Birmingham to London today. Brimmed the tank before I set off. On the drive you could almost watch the fuel guage moving down. when I got there it was on empty with the light on.
No way can you do a tank of fuel in 100+ miles!
My first thought was that the return pipe had cracked and I was ****ing Diesel over the road for the journey, but when I switch off the engine and restart it the guage returns to where it should be and the whole process starts again, over the course of an hour or so the guage goes down to zero...
Wierd..!
I Guess the senders on it's way out... unless anyone knows better??
