wierd clutch kit issue

took box off and clutch back out but you can c;learly see that the friction plate has not been making full contact as the surface is partialy marked
could this be the clutch kit its LUK one

but also i inspected the original pressure plate from the new replacment engine and it has a wider diameter in the centre and the the forks ar raised about 3 quarters of an inch is this a heavy duty one or do i have the wrong clutch fited as i have had the box in and out 2x now and its ****in me off

300 tdi ,stc8358bb is kit id have used ,does sound like wrong kit

the enging is 2.5 tdi think code 21l or 22l is that a difference

that clutch kit number i gave fits all 4 cylinder 2.5 disco or defender
