wide wheels and law

i need some extended arches for my 90 as the wheels stick out further,does anyone know the law on this if i get stopped before i save up for them,is it 3 points a wheel,or correction notice..best regards,nunny
 
why don't ya just get some conveyer belting and make some extensions, or just do the sensible thing and get wheels that fit what you have already until you can afford to do it properly. will be hard work saving for arch extensions if you have to keep paying fines as well. thats assuming a car following you doesn't stick one on ya for spraying water and **** over his pride and joy.

this set up was on it when i purchased it and works well off road,by the time ad bought new wheels and tyres i could have bought the wider arches,,just wonderd if its points or correction notice,cheers fr getting back to me anyhow...
 
Mate had his 90 impounded for having fook orf wide wheels on his. Copper claimed there was a danger of a child been dragged into the wheel arch and run over. I kid you not??

cheers for the info,wont use it on rd till i get the arches then,looks like the old credit cards gona get an hamering again...

and floppy defender arches are gonna stop that?:doh:
 
fitted theese arches to mine..
tyres are 35/11.50/15 with 35mm spacers
