Why wait for rot when you can have these!!

I've just spent all day fitting these. I figured that since I don't have a galvanised chassis and it is just wax oiled, I can add extra protection and stop the crap getting under the outriggers and protect the cross member too.
My hands are cut to pieces but I\m chuffed with the extra piece of mine these bits offer.

Of course you could make your own out of 8mm rubber or old car mats which is what was going through my head as I fitted these!

Hope they don't trap wet dirt, or dust that then gets wet and stays there eating the metal!!

The front ones definitely don't and the back ones are so easy to take off unlike the originals that I can keep a check on what's behind although they will stop mud splatter.
