the shoddy workmanship is just consistent across every singe one I’ve owned
Condensation inside the brake light, door locks temperamental, boot doesn’t open on full press, high pitched whining on audio system

It’s just never ending !!

Is the rangie pic yours?

Boot opening on full press? Like an electronic boot? Audio system

I think we have very different ideas on what a land rover is ;)

You're right though, but that's the fun. Can't have a faulty sound system if you don't have a sound system.

Yeah just woke up this morning and saw the brake light, I jet washed it yesterday hence why it probably had water ingress

Who would have thought when building a car the possibility of it getting wet? Too much design work gone into keeping water out of the footwell rather than life saving road safety functions

I came on here looking for advice however I would rather slate the car instead, it’s my way of dealing with the issue, I drive an Audi this is the wife’s car..... which I have the pleasure to care for like it’s my own

Weird, i've never had that issue. Some comes in between the door and through a damaged sill but that's it. Nowhere near any electronics (mainly because there are none). I'd check the seal around the lights and give it a good airing. Take the light lense or whatever they're called off, cover it so it can dry and when you put it back on see if it sits flush against the body.

2nd hand?

I drive an Audi this is the wife’s car....

I wouldn't have said that if I were you...

Anyway, it's a range rover, they're luxury cars with the added pain in the arse.

That's why mines doesn't have faults :)

"Agreed" my wife wants me to buy a range rover but I have enough to mess about with a 90, D1 & D2
id need to give up my job to be a full time landy fault fixer.

Fixing the faults is part of the fun o_O :D
Not a fan of range rovers. Unless they're range rover classics they come off as rich rapper poncy cars to me.

Wouldn't that be lovely though? Your whole job could just be fixing cars you love
