why do they do it!!!!

I used to have a Series 3 with a steering wheel from a Mini (tiny) and enormous tyres (275s, I think). You needed Arnie's biceps to park the thing. The passenger lock never worked and it often used to get parked in Central London, with not one attempt to nick it. I would love to have seen someone try.

Healthy dose of fear is the answer.

We were bored as kids, but didn't break into motors. It may have crossed our minds, but we knew if caught it WOULD hurt.

As for national service no thanks! I served and I was an aggressive arse for many years after. So taking numpties that don't want to be there will just create more frustration and aggression. Besides, why should people that want to serve they're country get lumbered with them?

All that is needed is a good dose of common sense - it used to be the case that the law of the land was based on "what the average person would consider fair and reasonable" - so a quick clip around the ear didnt invoke a huge law suit - neither did clearing the snow off your own paths or asking noisy youths to be quiet.
Unfortunately common sense is no longer available - or deemed wise.

I was having problems with the kids bad language in the house so the wife said that I should interviene.

I got up one morning and asked my son what he wanted for his breakfast, he said I'll have the fokin bacon and eggs. I foked him off his seat and biffed him to fock about the room then sat him back down.

I then asked my daughter what she wanted, and she said fook the bacon and eggs I'll have the fokin corn flakes.
