Why can't we call them "trucks"?

Always makes me laugh when it ****es people off on the forum and you get the "it's not a truck" post almost as pointless as the "use the search button" post. The fact is people don't want to trawl through other threads to find out what opinion was given ages ago about a similar question when it's faster to start a new thread. Equally Land Rovers are trucks, according to most published definitions, so people should feel welcome to use the term and those that take offence should go and cry in a corner and get over it, tw@ts!

You need to get a life, why should we answer all the silly questions? It isn't a job coming on here, it's a hobby! People seem to forget that!

So get back on your high horse and ride off to that tyre section and start typing

Trucks are generally perceived to be big and powerful and designed to haul stuff. That's cool, no? So why don't we just call them trucks?!
