Mine was original until about 5 years ago now it's got a galvanised chassis and disco 200tdi and transfer box.
What year is yours? TBH I think oldest original is asking a bit much, most oldies must have been altered a bit by now, so just oldest 110 or 90 running and in use...............................

Mine was 1/5/84 and still ran when it was regrettably sold 2 1/2 years back due to a house move. Only real issue was the chassis. Sorry to see that it still hasn't been put back on the road :(

As I mentioned earlier it's 1984 but probably late on as it's listed as an 85 model.

If you go on Google images on forgotten land rovers there are quite a few 90 / 110 rusting away on there.

I remember years ago when me and my bro was out owning in our then 2a's with B.A.D.lrc we came across an old 90 truck cab with an ifor Williams top on it in a farmers field rusting away and everyone fell in love with it as most of us had either S2 / 3's or range rovers so a few of the guys could the farmer and bought it off him between them but I never here'd anything about it after that, think it was either a Y Reg or an A Reg can't remember but bet it was a good project back then

This is a bit different again but half relevant.

My dad had a 90 n/a diesel in that horrible light green, she was B498 PHN...she was amazing cos she taught me to drive. It's replacement was a 90 turbo csw G705 SRH. I've just done a check and the first one is still on the road and the second is sorn since 2013

Does anyone recognise these plates or know how to find vehicles...id love to see them again

I've another '87 110 in original condition and sails thru MOT's. Anything replaced or refurbished has been like for like.

Mines an 87, 90, well, thats what the logbook and chassis stamp says.....

Sorry @waldamar didn't realise I had meandered onto the Defender section - in my defence it was very late and I thght it was a general landy q. #howembarressing I shall wander back out now!

1983 - But it doesn't look like it did when it left the factory!!!!

Described as a Defender but that's understandable when listing for sale. Would be a shame if it gets converted.

That doesnt look too silly at that money, although as usual there are no pics of the underside.

My Ninety must be one of the youngest ones still running. It was registered in January 1990, and I think Defenders started being registered from September 90.
