It requires some work(which old Landy doesn't)
Seller's description:

This is Chassis no 1 of the UK home market vehicles, and was on the stand when the 2A Forward Control was launched at Earls Court in 1962.

Still has its Land Rover Number plate and lots of the original features from the original Land Rover Press Photo (last photo).

Originally a 2 1/4 petrol, this was removed a long time ago and replaced with a Perkins 4203.

It has also lost its original fix sided (not drop sided) body.

However, available by separate negotiation I have another 2A Forward Control as a donor vehicle that has the correct rear tub with fixed sides and lots of spares including a Power Take off winch, correct 2 1/4 petrol engine etc etc.

Chassis no 1 is sold as is and requires a full restoration. Don't expect to drive home.

Listed on Ebay initially before specialist auctions.

A rare opportunity to own Chassis No 1 of a Land Rover model.
