Whistle.....

Hi all,

Not sure if this is a problem but it's drivingthe missus nuts.

When driving (2k Vogue V8) and you lift your foot of the accelerator or drive without increasing the revs, it appears the engine whistles as if you were getting a feedback whistle on the old radios of yester-year that didnt have a surpressor.

Any ideas? Need to keep the missus happy

Turning the stereo up is cheaper But obviously she 'needs' to talk...

She does on a regular basis

Check the vacuum hoses for leaks, another possible area could be the inlet manifold gasket as the vacuum will be at maximum when the accelerator is released.

i think this is the same problem as i have on mine.. did you ever find out what the cause of the whistle was?
