Whining all gone :D

I was experiencing a horrible whining noise for a while. After 2 weeks of it i decided to stop trying to guess and have a good listen under the bonnet (had to climb on my bumper as i could reach my head in far enough as im tiny) the noise appeared to be coming from my aircon pulley. After having a good look and noticing the belt was only literally for my aircon (which i have never used as it didnt work anyway) i cut the belt off and now...no whining noise. Just to replace my rear shocks as one has snapped and she is all ready for my holiday next week. Apart from no working windows. But thats for another day.

Yay! I just turn the radio up to cure noises. Try kicking up under the lhs of the glovebox area - that makes my rear windows work!

I took the ecu apart and cleaned it all and then cleaned the switch contacts my rear windows worked. Front ones still wont work even though the relay is clicking when i press the switch.

Whip the door cards off and have a look, when I got mine someone had propped the drivers window up with a bit of wood... all I needed was a new regulator and window runner

Thats gonna be this afternoons job thats what i had to do with my last disco as the runners rotted and the windows wouldnt stay up.
