Picked up a load cover from (apparently)a P reg 300 tdi over the week end (same model as mine).But it won't fit and is too wide-Are all 300tdi's on same body shell or are there variants-maybe this is off a range rover or is the td5 a bigger body-has a part no.271341 on the end but can't find it on any spares lists.

All 300tdi load covers are the same bar colour.
D2 load covers are a different size so don't fit D1s.
Could have the wrong load cover.

the ends are spring loaded on mine and have to be pushed inwards to slot into the brackets

Had another look at it tonight,and cleared the boot to properly try and fit it,and...it fits-strange thing is it wouldn't even fit across the back seats,too wide-So who's the biggest arse now-but at least I have a load cover-and the return spring works.
