Which oil do you use?

Im intending to change the IRD oil, two landrover garages have said they use 80w/90 oil but the rave manual and haynes say 75w90 ,the drivers handbook just says use API GL5+MT1.

what do you guys out there use?

It don't matter what you use mate, it'll go bust anyway.

would the 75 give you lower viscosity from cold?
might be a better option if you do lots of little trips.

I put 75w/90 in the IRD and 80w/90 in the Final Drive.

Its cheaper to buy in bulk so the garages will only buy one type and put it in both.
