which landy ??

hi guys i need a lil help im looking to buy my first land rover an to begin with i thought discovery but people i have been talking to tell me that defender is a better start as they r easyer to start off roading, i have test driven both and enjoyed driving both, i have around a £3500 budget depending on insurance were should i start ????

Well it all depends on your personal preference, Disco's are very capable off road and you will probably pick one up much cheaper than a Defender, which tend to hold their value pretty well; if insurance costs are a consideration, you might want to get a few quotes to see what you're looking at in that respect, as your age & driving record will obviously have a lot of bearing on how much it's going to cost you. The Defender IS the ultimate off-road vehicle, and mine is my every-day drive too, but in the end; you pays your money, you takes your choice!

im in a rock and a hard place defender more to buy cheeper to insure an disco vice versa but with the defender there is more scope 4 me to adapt an modify i have an after market options list in my head every time i see 1 lol between a 110 and a 90 is there much to seperate off road wise ?

again, it depends on what you're doing; there is terrain where a 110 will cope better due to the longer wheel-base, and vice-versa. If load-capacity is a issue, the 110 can carry more than the 90, it's really a matter of deciding what you want your Landy to be able to do for you.
