Hello All
I am thinking of changing to a land rover preferably a defender / 110 not in the near future I may add. At the moment I drive a cherokee TD and the landy would be a replacement. It would need to cruise at 70+ on the motorway occasionally, seat 4/5 and be reasonably frugal 30 + mpg (averaging 32 mpg at the moment). The main problem at the moment is the cost of spares/ repairs for example £600 to replace a heater matrix, not at a main dealer I may add. I do regularly carry loads in excess of 200kg in the back over some rough tracks but need to take the missus on holiday in it. Any help / advice would be appreciated

Now we've got past near future, you can probably find a 110 TD5 which will probably do everything you need by the sounds of it.

Hope that helps :D
